“Rose! Come see what I found!” I yelled down the hall, too afraid to move and lose my discovery. “Bring our bathing suits!” She came running around the corner and stopped in front of me.
“Why did I need to bring these?” She gestured to the two bikini’s in her hand. I opened the door and her jaw dropped. Inside was a large, clear blue pool surrounded by crystal tile floors and light blue walls. She threw my suit at me and we ran to get changed. Laughter filled the air as we jumped into the beautiful pool. We were in there for five minutes before I remembered my camera.
“I’ll be back!” I called as I ran from the room, dripping water everywhere in my wake. Halfway to my room I bumped into something solid.
“Katherine?”
“Oh sorry Doctor!” He helped me to stand straight.
“Where are you going in such a hurry?” He looked me over. “What are you wearing that for?”
“I found the pool! I was going to get my camera so Rose and I can remember this.” I blushed, being so exposed in front of the Doctor.
“Ah, well,” He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. “Carry on then.”
“Right.” I rushed off, shaking my head in embarrassment. I grabbed Polaroid camera and went back to the pool room.
“Took you long enough.” Rose was floating on an inflatable float. I took a picture and set it to the side. “We need someone to take a picture of us so your camera doesn’t get ruined.”
“Yeah, you’re right.” I went back to find the Doctor. I found the man hunched over the controls, tinkering with it. I snapped a picture of him which caught his attention.
“I thought you were swimming.”
“We need a favor. Can you take a picture of Rose and I?” He nodded and followed me back. I ran and did a cannonball into the water, splashing Rose.
“Really?” She laughed as I resurfaced. We swam to the edge and hugged each other and he took the picture, setting it with my others.
“Is that all?” He asked with a disgruntled sigh. Rose and I looked at each other worriedly.
“Yeah.” He left, setting my camera on the pile of pictures.
“What’s his problem?” I frowned.
“Who knows.” Rose pushed off the edge. “Come on, lets have some fun!” I honestly tried to enjoy myself but all I could think about was the Doctor. What was wrong with him? Did I make him mad, were we not allowed in here?
“Rose, I’m going to check on him.” I grabbed a towel this time to stay warm and went to the console room. He wasn’t there. I tried his room, knocking on the door. “Doctor? Is everything alright?”
“Not now Katherine.” He grumbled from the otherside. He sounded out of breath.
“If it’s something I did, if we weren’t allowed in the pool room, just tell me. I’m sorry.” I sat down outside his door when I didn’t get an answer. “I’m sorry for whatever I did.” Again, silence. I laid my head against the wall and closed my eyes.
“Katherine? What are you doing?” I awoke to see the Doctor crouched in front of me.
“Mhm, I fell asleep? Sorry, I was waiting for you. Are you okay? Are you mad at me? I didn’t know that we-” He cut me off with a curt laugh.
“You think I was mad at you?” He chuckled.
“Well you were kind of grumpy earlier and I assumed that it was my fault.” I noticed he wouldn’t look me in the eye.
“No, it was...it was just a mood. I promise it wasn’t you.” We heard a shutter sound and looked to see Rose taking a picture of the two of us.
“Adorable.” She laughed, helping me up. I looked at the picture and smiled as well.
“That’s going on my wall.” I snatched the picture and the others she held in her other hand and ran to my room to hang them.

BBC John Watson x Reader- Chapter 14
An hour and two cups of tea later, the boiling thunder of your thoughts had been brought down to a low simmer. Things looked clearer now. You breathed a small sigh and shifted on the couch. John looked up at you as you yawned and stretched your legs.
"Thanks for the tea," you said sheepishly, glancing down at the two empty mugs laying on the floor.
"No problem," John smiled. "Feeling any better?"
"Hmm? Oh, yeah. Just needed to sort out my thoughts for a bit. Sherlock's got his whole 'mind palace' thing going for him, while us regular humans have to deal with these things without nifty rooms and folders. Seriously, I wish I had a room dedic
